President Kovind Extends Wishes To People Of Manipur, Meghalaya And Tripura On Statehood Day
President Ram Nath Kovind extended his best wishes to people of the three Northeastern states of Meghalaya, Manipur and Tripura as they celebrated their 49th Statehood Day today. The three northeastern states attained their statehood on January 21, 1972, under the North-Eastern Areas (Re-Organisation) Act, 1971.
