BISWANATH CHARIALI, Aug 25 - Preparations for Gunotsav, 2018 began in Biswanath district recently. A training programme was held in this respect at Biswanath College of Agriculture where 91 coordinators and CRCCs under three educational blocks of the district took part. The training programme was inaugurated by District Mission Coordinator and Additional Deputy Commissioner Pradip Kumar Sutradhar while it was conducted by District Nodal Officers Manoj Gohai and Bedabrat Borah. A thorough discussion regarding the smooth hosting of Gunotsav was also held in which Sonitpur DIET lecturer Chandan Bhuyan, District SSA Programme Officer Guljar Hussein, Mrinal Dutta, Programmer Nepol Ranjit Baruah and others highlighted several aspects of the greatest educational extravaganza of the State.
It may be mentioned here that the phase two of Gunotsav, 2018 will be held under the aegis of Asam Sarva Siksha Abhiyan in two phases from October 3 to 6 and October 31 to November 3, respectively covering 33 districts of Assam. Training for the teachers at cluster level is being held from today.
