GUWAHATI, April 7 - An Indo-Bangladesh cultural meet being organised by Byatikram MASDO as part of its pre-Bihu celebrations at the Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra here on April 8 and 9. A 28-member cultural troupe from Bangladesh will take part in the event, Hojai MLA Shiladitya Deb said at a press meet here.
Celebrities of India and Bangladesh will also participate. Apart from Byatikram Academy, three other organisations �Shrutighar, MAD Theatre and Nrityashaili of Bangladesh � will perform in the event dedicated to folk artiste Late Kalikaprasad Bhattacharjee.
�For the last few years we have been celebrating the festival and this time it will have an international touch. We are very happy that this time Bangladesh Sanskritik Sammelito Jot led by Hasan Arif will be joining us,� Dr Saumen Bharatiya, president of Byatikram MASDO, said.
