GUWAHATI, March 12 - The Gauhati High Court today extended the pre-arrest bail period of Assam Civil Service officer Avisika Baruah till March 23.
Baruah, who is posted as Circle Officer at Nazira has meanwhile agreed to become �approver� in the cash-for-job scam in the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) and has already recorded her statement.
She was among those civil service officials whose specimen handwriting was collected by Dibrugarh Police.
