GUWAHATI, May 3 � The All Assam Media Employees� Federation (AAMEF) and Journalists� Forum Assam (JFA) have expressed profound grief at the demise of senior journalist Pranab Sinha.

Sinha, a Tezpur-based journalist who edited Mohajati for a decade, passed away on Thursday morning. Son of Purna Narayan Sinha, who started Mohajati decades back, Pranab Sinha, 72, was suffering from different ailments since quite sometime now.

Besides editing Mohajati, Sinha used to contribute to PTI, The Telegraph and The Sentinel. Sinha, who was the founder president of Sonitpur Journalists� Union, leaves behind his wife and well wishers.

AAMEF president Hiten Mahanta and JFA president Rupam Barua, in a statement condoled his demise.
