Portfolios to Parliamentary Secys

ITANAGAR, Aug 14 - Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki on Friday distributed portfolios to the newly-appointed Parliamentary Secretaries. Tuki also effected a minor reshuffle of portfolios of some Parliamentary Secretaries.

Earlier on Tuesday, Tuki had inducted four legislators, including two new faces, as Parliamentary Secretaries into his 15-month-old government raising the total number of Parliamentary Secretaries to 22.

Elected from State�s lone unreserved seat of Bordumsa-Diyun, Nikh Kamin has been allotted Social Justice, Empowerment & Tribal Affairs and Women & Child Development departments.

Mechukha legislator PD Sona has been entrusted with Civil Aviation, Animal Husbandry & Dairy Development departments. While Tirong Aboh got the important Department of Tirap, Changlang & Longding Affairs (DoTCL) as well as Supply & Transport departments, Pani Taram was allotted Agriculture.

Moreover, following the reshuffle of portfolios of Parliamentary Secretaries, Jomde Kena, former Deputy Speaker, has been given additional charge of Co-operation apart from the existing charge of Transport & State Transport.

Parliamentary Secretary for Industries Tatung Jamoh got additional charge of Skill Development & Employment Generation, while Karya Bagang (Fisheries) was given Health & Family Welfare and Tapuk Taku (Tax & Excise) assigned with additional charge of Power (Electrical) department.
