SILCHAR, May 23: Poor internet facilities have delayed the counting of postal ballots for the Silchar Parliamentary seat for the Lok Sabha elections.
Sources at NATRIP counting centre here informed that the counting of 5741 postal ballots which was to begin as early as 8 am has been delayed mainly due to poor internet services at the counting venue.
"We are trying to address the issue and solve the problem at the earliest," a higher official informed media persons.
