GUWAHATI, Aug 29 - A number of cases alleging bank fraud have been registered with different police stations of the city in the past two days.
According to a source in the Guwahati police commissionerate, altogether ten complaints have been filed with Hatigaon Police Station, six with Dispur Police Station and 14 with Paltanbazar Police Station.
Commissioner of Guwahati Police Deepak Kumar today directed Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch) Jayant Singh to carry out an investigation in connection with the matter.
