GUWAHATI, April 19 - One Madan Kumar was today picked up by Latasil police probing the death of an eleven-year-old girl, whose body was found from the banks of the Brahmaputra at Kharghuli. Kumar is a neighbour of the girl.
Police, however, refused to share further details, saying investigation was in progress and leads were pointing to more suspects. It was also not clear if the girl was raped. �We are awaiting the post-mortem report, only then we can ascertain it,� an official said.
