BISWANATH CHARIALI, Nov 30 - Based on secret information that some rhino poachers were moving around with arms with an intention to poach a rhino in the 6th addition of Kaziranga National Park, an operation was launched Thursday evening by a joint team of Biswanath Police led by Muzzafar Hussain, DSP (HQ), Biswanath and Pranjal Baruah, Ranger of Crime Investigation Range of Biswanath Wildlife Division. The team walked a distance of around 4 km in the chapori area by crossing a river and succeeded in apprehending two rhino poachers in Balidubi Chapori (adjacent to the 6th addition of KNP). They were identified as Ayub Nabi (22) of Kamargaon, near Seujpur, Biswanath Chariali and Imran Ali of Chilamara, Gingia. One rifle along with one magazine were recovered from their possession.
