NEW DELHI, March 19 (IANS): Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Saturday greeted the nation on the occasion of Holi and hoped the spring festival will strengthen the "bond of brotherhood" among people.
In his message, Manmohan Singh said the festival of colours is a celebration of the diversity of India.
"The spring festival symbolizes hope and a new beginning and strengthens the bond of brotherhood among the people. May the festival usher in happiness and prosperity to all," said a statement issued here.
Holi will be celebrated Sunday.
