Plea to protect Amur Falcons

DIMAPUR, Sept 2 - With Amur Falcons expected to arrive in Nagaland around mid-September during their migration from Siberia and Mongolia, Northern China and Japan, the Nagaland Forest department has appealed to the public to protect the migratory birds. Amur Falcons are expected to stay in the State till November, Nagaland Chief Wildlife Warden Satya Prakash Tripathi, said in an appeal today.
