GUWAHATI, Oct 15 - The Alumnae Association, Guwahati Chapter, of Pine Mount School, Shillong, organised its annual inter-school prize money quiz competition recently at Bishnu Nirmala Bhavan here, a delayed press release stated.
The competition was open for students of classes VIII, IX, X, XI and XII of all schools in Guwahati. After the preliminary round, six schools qualified for the final round.
Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Silpukhuri emerged winner, while Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Borsojai and South Point School bagged the second and third places respectively.
Cash prizes of Rs 10,000, Rs 8,000 and Rs 6,000 were awarded to the winning teams and certificates were given to all participants.
MVM, Silpukhuri also won the Miss Miles Trophy for Best Team. The quiz was conducted by Tridip Borah.
