MORIGAON, July 23 - The Pilik Choudhury Memorial Inter District School Football Tournament got underway here at the Khirode Boruah Stadium and Dalbari Rural Sport Complex near here today.
The tournament was inaugurated by Morigaon DC Hemen Das and CEM, Tiwa Autonomous Council Paban Manta. Joint Director, Sports Partha Pegu, Deputy Director Uday Kamal Chetia were also present in the inaugural function.
Altogether 30 district teams are participating in this tournament.
Today�s results: (At Dalbari) Nagaon beat Nalbari 2-0, Kamrup (M) beat West Karbi Anglong 7-0, Darrang got walk over against South Salmara, Tinsukia got walk over against Dima Hasao. (At Morigaon) Dibrugarh beat Hailakandi 1-0, Golaghat beat Cachar 7-0, Goalpara beat Karbi Anglong 2-0, Baska beat Jorhat 4-0, Charaideo beat Udalguri 4-0.
