GUWAHATI, Sept 30 - The North East Common Cause Organisation (NEECO) will hold a six-day exhibition of photographs clicked by filmmaker and photographer Charu Kamal Hazarika titled �The Roots� at the Gauhati Artists� Guild Gallery at Chandmari. Noted litterateur and veteran journalist Homen Borgohain will inaugurate the exhibition at 4 pm on October 7.
In a statement, the organisers said the photographs would present the rich traditional lifestyles of various ethnic groups of Assam and the inherent bond among them. Dr Irshad Ali will grace the inaugural function as the guest of honour.
The exhibition shall remain open for visitors from October 8 to 12 between 2 pm and 7 pm.
