People urged to vote for only deserving

By Staff Reporter

GUWAHATI, April 3 - Making an appeal to the people in general and the entrepreneur community of the State in particular to come out and exercise their voting rights in the two phases of the State Assembly election, the Assam Chamber of Commerce (ACC) today urged them to vote sensibly and elect only the right candidates, who can voice their concerns in the Assembly.

The traders body also requested its members and well-wishers to be very careful in exercising their voting rights. The traders community in Assam should be very careful in dealing with the candidates who are trying to harm the social fabric of Assam, or indulging in unethical practices. The main objective of our democratic right is to elect dynamic leaders, who can give us good governance without corruption or nepotism, said the traders body in its appeal.
