SILCHAR, April 24 - The situation in Bodoland might once again become tense with a fresh spate of violence. Under no circumstances are the people safe under the regime of BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary, claimed Bodoland MP Naba Kumar Sarania.

Speaking to reporters on Monday at Silchar, Sarania said, huge consignments of illegal arms and ammunition are secretly stocked at various places across Bodoland, and unfortunately, no steps are forthcoming to recover the said arms and ammunition.

He further blamed Mohilary, claiming that the people, mostly non-Bodos have been deprived in Bodoland from availing benefits of various developmental schemes and job opportunities in a systematic manner.
