GUWAHATI, Nov 21 � Urging all insurgent outfits to join the mainstream through dialogue, Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi today said that the Karbi Anglong-based UPDS would sign a peace pact with the Centre on November 25.
Gogoi, who was addressing a press conference, also
revealed that the peace process with the NDFB was progressing satisfactorily with the appointment of PC Haldar as an interlocutor.
�The UPDS will be signing a peace agreement in New Delhi on November 25. This is a good sign, even though the other Karbi Anglong-based outfit, KLNLF, has not yet come forward,� he said.
