Parikshit makes it to semis

GUWAHATI, Nov 23 - Assam boy Parikshit Somani of India made it to the semifinals of the singles event of the ITF Junior World Ranking Tennis Tournament.

In the quarterfinal match played at the All Assam Tennis Association Complex, Chachal, here today Parikshit drubbed Himanshu Mor 6-2, 6-0.

In the girls� doubles quarterfinal Tanisha Kashyap and Sravya Shivani Chilakalapudi beat Gauri Bhagia/Aanya Goel (USA) 6-3, 7-6(3).

The Boys Singles semifinals will start at 9-30 am tomorrow followed by the other semifinals.
