GUWAHATI, Feb 28 - The second day of the ITF Men�s Futures Tennis Tournament witnessed no upsets as all the seeded players cruised into the second round at the All Assam Tennis Association Complex, Chachal, here today.
However, in doubles category, unseeded Kunal Anand and his partner Anvit Bendre of India defeated 4th seeded pair of Jui Chen Hung (TPE) and his partner Karunuday Singh (IND) in a gruelling three setter 7-6(4), 6-7(3), 12-10.
Assam boy Parikshit Somani, partnering with Paramjeet Sing Bajwa of India moved to the quarterfinals defeating B Hadin and Mohit Mayur Jayaprakash 2-6, 6-2, 13-11.
Ankush Dutta, secretary of the All Assam Tennis Association, the organiser of the championship, informed that the singles second round matches will start from 10am on Wednesday.
