GUWAHATI, Aug 22 - Parikshit Somani of Assam went down in the final of the boys� U-18 doubles event in the Adidas MCC Junior Nationals Tennis Tournament which concluded yesterday at Chennai.
Partnering with Paras Dahia of Haryana they lost to Vasisth Cheruku of Karnataka and Sahil Desmukh of Maharashtra 3-6, 2-6.
In the boys� U-18 singles event Parikshit was beaten by S Manish of Tamilnadu 6-2, 5-7, 1-6 in a gruelling three setter semifinal, stated a All Assam Tennis Association release.
