Panel�s report on NRC update

GUWAHATI, Sept 22 � The State Cabinet sub-committee constituted to look into the alleged errors in the National Register of Citizens (NRC) form would submit its report in the next seven days.

The sub-committee, according to Assam Accord Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, has almost unanimously recommended certain changes, and that the pilot projects on NRC update would soon begin in as many as 30 Assembly constituencies of the State.
