GUWAHATI, Oct 13 � The Indira Gandhi Athletics Stadium, Sarusajai here witnessed a capacity crowd during the Hero ISL match between North East United FC and Kerala Blasters FC.

All the stands of the 35-thousand capacity stadium were full to the brink. Football buffs started entering the stadium from 3.30pm and enjoyed the pre- match cultural function where noted performers like Jubeen Garg, Angarag Mahanta and Jubilee enthralled the crowd.

Prior to the match, people gathered near the main gate to have a glimpse of Sachin Tendulkar and John Abraham. Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi declared the Guwahati leg open where seven home matches of the NE United FC are scheduled to be played.
