�Over 2,500 kids not in Mizoram schools�

AIZAWL, Oct 15 - As many as 2,665 children in the age group of 6-14 years were not enrolled in schools in Mizoram, State School Education Minister H Rohluna informed the Assembly on Thursday.

While the southernmost Lawngtlai district has the highest number of children without formal education at 1,201, followed by south Mizoram�s Lunglei district at 580, Aizawl district has the lowest number of children without formal education at 67, the Minister said in a written reply to a query from Lalrinawma of the Opposition Mizo National Front. � PTI
