GUWAHATI, Nov 5 - The Maligaon-based Mar Gregorios Orthodox Church here will conduct a gospel convention from November 6 to 8. The church will also observe the 113th Mar Gregorios Day, who was the Archbishop of the Malankara Church, a press release issued by the church vicar, Fr Joji Rajan, stated.
The convention will start at 5.30 pm tomorrow with an evening prayer. Fr PC Thomas from Nagpur will deliver a devotional speech at 6.15 pm.
On November 7, the programme will start at 7 am with the morning prayer, followed by Holy Qurbana, and at 6.15 pm there will be a raasa (procession), which will end at 7.30 pm.
On the final day on December 8, the programme will begin with a morning prayer at 7.30 am, followed by Holy Qurbana at 8.15 am. This will be followed by a parish fest at 11 am, in which Eapen KV, IAS officer, will be the guest. The programme will conclude at 1 pm.
