DIBRUGARH, Jan 30: Several organisations yesterday undertook a programme to paste posters on walls, trees and wherever they could lay their hands on in Tingkhong LAC in support of their demand for CBI enquiry into the sub-inspector recruitment scam and also bringing Tingkhong MLA Bimal Borah under the purview of investigation.
Madhuram Gogoi, adviser to Krishak Mukti Sangram Sammittee (KMSS) initiated the programme in Rajgarh by pasting a poster, which demanded CBI enquiry and questioning of Tingkhong MLA in the scam.
Several members from CAA Virodhi Aikya Mancha, CPI (ML), Asom Jatiya Parishad (AJP), Adivasi National Party, Indian National Congress and Asom Sangrami Chah Shramik Sangha took part in the poster-pasting exercise in the constituency.
