GUWAHATI, March 21 - GRP today seized old notes of value Rs 3,48,500 from a person travelling on the Dn Kamrup Express.
Sources said the accused, Hussian Ahmed, was travelling from Hojai to Kolkata with the demonetized notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 denomination.
�He claimed he would exchange the notes at Kolkata. But we are verifying his claims and the documents. We are also in touch with the Income Tax department. He is yet to be arrested,� GRP sources said.
