SHILLONG, July 24 - An official of the Meghalaya Government is suspected to be involved in the recent petrol bomb attack on the Meghalaya Public Service Commission (MPSC) office. The official is now absconding.
The police have already arrested four persons who carried out the attack on July 10. The arrested persons were remanded in police custody for ten days on Monday after they were produced in the court. According to the police, the absconding government official paid Rs 50,000 to the four arrested to carry out the attack.
