IMPHAL, Jan 6 � Manipur clinched the overall champion title while Satyajit Pratihari of Odisha claimed the overall individual champion in the 6th Mr Eastern India Body Building Championship 2015 organised by the All Manipur Gymnasium Welfare Association under the aegis of Eastern India Body Building Association yesterday at the auditorium, Khuman Lampak Sports Complex, Imphal.

Assam emerged the runners up team. Altogether 80 bodybuilders form the different North Eastern States participated in the tournament.

Overall champion Satyajit Pratihari of Odisha was awarded a cash prize of Rs 50,000 and masters champion Balaphrang Kharshiing of Meghalaya was given a cash prize of Rs 10,000.

The 1st, 2nd, 3rd and fourth place winners of different weight categories were awarded a cash prize of Rs 5000, 3000, 2000 and 1000 each respectively.

Champions in different groups: (55 kg) Dipu Dutta (Assam). (60 kg) Sh Kanta (Manipur). (65 kg) N Robindro Singh (Manipur). (70 kg) L Rishikanta Singh (Manipur). (75 kg) Nisho Konia (Arunachal Pradesh). (80 kg) Ng Surchand (Manipur). (80 kg above) Satyajit Pratihari (Odisha). (Masters) Balaphrang Kharshiing (Meghalaya).
