DIMAPUR, Oct 27 - The 37 Assam Rifles apprehended an armed self-styled �under secretary� of the NSCN(KK) during an operation in Chumukedima area in Dimapur, claimed the Kohima-based IGAR (North) on October 23
According to the IGAR(N), the area was monitored by establishment of multiple surveillances. Based on positive spotting by the sources, a pursuit was undertaken and the suspected cadre was intercepted near a bus stand on Golaghat Road. During the search, a .32 pistol with two magazines, a .22 pistol with a magazine and a mobile phone were recovered from them. The individual, identified as Vkinny Sema of Dimapur, claimed himself to be a �under secretary� of the NSCN(KK) (Civil Wing) has confessed that he was attempting to sell some weapons to a potential customer.
