DIMAPUR, March 10 - NSCN-IM has clarified that it has nothing to do with the encounter between 13th Sikh Light Infantry (SLI) and unknown militants under Zeliangrong region in Noney district of Manipur on March 5 which claimed the life of an Army personnel.
In a release, NSCN-IM strongly refuted what it called baseless allegation leveled against it without properly ascertaining the facts. �Such a charge by 13th SLI is highly immature, as it comes at a time when the Nagas and Centre are very close to finding a solution,� the release stated.
