A release issued by NSCN-IM alleged that the Assam Rifles jawans broke open the residence of KK Angami in his absence and looted the ammunition, cash and documentary records. Such an act is totally a violation of the laid down ceasefire ground rules and a direct challenge against the NSCN/GPRN, the release said adding that the Assam Rifles should immediately return the seized ammunition along with the cash and documentary records.

It has also asked the Assam Rifles to desist from involving in such provocative act, which will lead to hampering of the peaceful situation.
