DIMAPUR, Nov 9 � The NSCN-IM has accused the Assam Rifles of violating the ceasefire ground rules and killing five cadres of the Naga outfit.
NSCN-IM alleged five of its cadres were killed by 43rd Assam Rifle on November 4 in the forest of Kepeilou village in NC Hills of Assam.
The NSCN (IM) in a statement said the cadres were killed �while manning and defending the territory of Nagalim�.
The Naga outfit alleged �the manner of intruding and killing of the cadres in our territory shows that Assam Rifles has no respect for Cease Fire Ground Rules and that they are being used to defy and derail the ongoing Indo-Naga peace process. NSCN/GPRN will see that such act of treachery is responded in kind�, the statement warned.
