DIMAPUR, May 17 - Lumba Raising, a prominent NSCN (I-M) leader, passed away here today after prolonged illness.
Raising had been involved in the Naga national movement for 30 years. He was an executive member of the steering committee, the highest decision-making body of the NSCN (I-M).
�The Government of the People�s Republic of Nagalim (GPRN) expresses deep sorrow over the death of Lumba Raising after a prolonged fight against cancer,� an NSCN (I-M) release stated.
