KALAIGAON, Feb 11 � An NRC (National Register of Citizen) training programme was held recently at Kalaigaon on February 5. The NRC training programme was organised by the Circle Officer of Kalaigaon Revenue Circle. Most of the mouzadars, gaonburahs, lat mandals, BLOs, leading citizens attended the NRC training.
Dina Moni Das, Revenue Circle Officer, Kalaigaon inaugurated the training session at 11 am. On the occasion, he explained the need of NRC updating and requested all to work smoothly for a correct NRC. Ramesh Chandra Kalita, Circle Project Supervisor (NRC) conducted the day-long programme on matters of awareness on NRC updating, roles and responsibilities of circle level officials, procedures of NRC updating based on 1951 NRC and voters list of 1971.
