GUWAHATI, Oct 30 - State Chief Secretary VK Pipersenia, who today held a discussion with the All Assam Students� Union (AASU) over the National Register of Citizens (NRC) updating process, assured the AASU delegation that preparing a correct NRC was a matter of top priority for the State Government. In a statement, the AASU said that the ongoing verification stage of the NRC was the most crucial and every possible care must be taken to ensure that the NRC remains a foolproof document.
