DIMAPUR, Dec 16 - The ruling NPF has expressed hope that the issue arising out of the alleged PDS rice scam comes to a logical conclusion rather than instigating street turmoil, harassing the general public during this peak hour of shopping and preparation for the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
In a release issued on Wednesday, the party stated that the purported recent surprise raid on some godowns, stocking Public Distribution System (PDS) foodgrains like rice in Kevijau and Lhumthi colonies, Dimapur, by ACAUT Nagaland with members of Concerned Citizens of Nagaland are simply unacceptable in the eye of the law, it maintained.
