NEW DELHI, May 14 (IANS): There is no specific proposal of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh visting Pakistan as no formal invite has been received, the External Affairs Ministry said Tuesday.

"There is no specific proposal to visit Pakistan. No formal invite has been received," external affairs ministry spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin told reporters adding "India and Pakistan have well-functioning diplomatic channels."
