IMPHAL, April 30 � The Cultural Forum Manipur (CFM) has announced life time achievement awards to five personalities who have dedicated their lives in the field of literature and culture.
According to a CFM press release the recepients of the life time achievement awards are Laishram Ibohalmacha Singh (Nata Eshei), Leimapokpam Yaima (Pena Eshei), Irengbam Kanhai, (Stage Drama), Khullem Ongby Leibaklotpi (Dance/Raas Guru) and Ningombam Ibobi (Pung).
The forum also announced cash awards to Thoidingjam Tombi Singh (Thoibi Award), Aribam Chitreshwar Sharma for his novel �Apaiba Leichil� (Dineshori Literature Award), Elangbam Sonamani (Huirem Amuba and Yaimabi Award), Laishram Samarendra Singh (Prof Chongtham Manihar Singh Award), Pashuram Thingnam (Lairellakpam Dharambir Award), Ningombam Sanatombi (Laishom Ongbi, Indrani and Laisom Geetanjali Memorial Award) and Thounaojam Iboyaima (Dr Ibeyaima Cultural Harmony Award).
