New initiative to disseminate �Maan Ki Baat�

HAILAKANDI, Aug 26 - In a bid to reach out to the common man, the Office of District Information and Public Relations Department here broadcast the Prime Minister�s �Maan Ki Baat� through fixed loudspeakers (FLS) on Sunday.

The Prime Minister�s popular radio programme �Maan Ki Baat� was transmitted through FLS by the District Information and Public Relations Office.

The local citizens were witnessed listening attentively to the Prime Minister�s address broadcast through FLS despite scorching heat.

The DIPRO here will be installing fixed loud speakers at some important public places under the municipal areas soon. DIPRO Sabir Nishat said that as most people could not carry a radio, so through fixed loud speakers they can listen to PM�s �Mann Ki Baat� radio programme.

�The primary objective behind it is to disseminate as much information as possible to keep the people updated on various issues concerning them,� said Nishat.
