DOOMDOOMA, Jan 16 - The general body meeting of the Tinsukia District Handball Association (TDHA) and Doomdooma Handball Association (DHA) was jointly held here recently.
The meeting was presided over by the TDHA president, Lalit Gogoi. The souvenir named Abalokan published on the occasion was formally released by senior journalist and the TDHA vice-president, Arjun Baruah. The secretaries of TDHA and DHA read out their secretarial reports and audit reports respectively in the meeting and the house unanimously passed those reports.
Later, a fifteen member new executive body of TDHA was formed with Lalit Gogoi as president and Sah Miruj as secretary for next four years. Similarly, a fifteen member new executive body of DHA was also formed with Shankar Das as president and Mamu Khanikar Begum as secretary for the next four-year tenure.
