NEUFC unveils team jersey

GUWAHATI, Sept 24 - The Northeast United Football Club (NEUFC) has unveiled its jersey for the second edition of the Indian Super League at a chaotic function held here today.

The organisers invited mediapersons for the function which was organised in a showroom of Reliance Trends. However, non journalists outnumbered the mediapersons as there was no restriction on entry. Bollywood actor and owner of the club John Abraham along with some of the team players were present at the function. This year, Performax, a sportswear brand of Reliance Trends-India will be the official kit partner of NEUFC.

Talking to the media after unveiling the jersey, John said, �this year we will try to rectify the mistakes committed in the inaugural edition last year. �As we made some mistakes last year, we were placed at the bottom of the table, But this year were are working hard and will hopefully perform better�, he said.

Simao Sabrosa (Marquee player) of Portugal said they have a good team this time and will play every match with an intention to win .

Local boy Alen Deori claimed that he was in good form and will try to score goals. He further revealed that this year the whole team is preparing like one family and hoped their show will be better.

Team manager Ceser Farias was also present on the occasion.
