GUWAHATI, Nov 26 � Bottom ranked NorthEast United Football Club (NEUFC) will vie for stay alive in the Hero Indian Super League as they will fight against table leader Chennaiyin Football Club at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium, Sarusajai here tomorrow.
The visiting team is virtually through to the semifinal stage with 19 points in their kitty while the home team is in a hopeless situation with just 10 points from as many outings.
The Chennaiyin already won five matches out of ten they played and faced one defeat. On the other hand the host team won only two against four defeats. The visiting team also seemed to be very sharp in their striking force as they have scored 20 goals so far. But the host team is lacking the perfect striker and in last ten matches they could score only seven goals.
