GUWAHATI, Sept 30 � The North East Students� Organisation (NESO) is going to organize a protest programme in New Delhi on October 1. The programme is being organized to demand the repeal of the Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) from the North East. Moreover, it will oppose transfer of Assam�s land to Bangladesh, mega dams on earthquake prone zones, and illegal migration to the region, a press note mentioned.
