NE United FC ready for Goan test

By Sports reporter

GUWAHATI, Oct 18 NorthEast United FC is all set to take on FC Goa in their third encounter of the Hero Indian Super League (ISL) at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium here tomorrow.

The host team won their opening match against Kerala Blasters and lost the second match against Atletico De Kolkata while the Goan team is yet to open their account as they went down to Chennaiyin FC in their opening home match.

After a bright start, the home team suffered a 0-2 thrashing by Atletico de Kolkata and the result will definitely be a cause of concern for the team against Brazilian great Zico-coached Goa outfit.

The visiting team will try their hearts-out to come back to the tournament with a win.

The NEUFC team, which has already played two matches on this ground will definitely enjoy a home ground advantage while the Goan team, which arrived here yesterday, will have to adjust to the conditions.

Goa played well against Chennaiyin FC and considering their show in the first match, the home team will have to sweat it out tomorrow to gain an upper hand.

Both the team had their workout sessions today.
