GUWAHATI, Jan 21 � Six militant outfits of the North East have jointly given a call to boycott the Republic Day and to observe a general strike on that day.
In a joint statement, CorCom, an umbrella organization of Manipur-based militant groups, United Liberation Front of Asom (Independent), National Democratic Front of Boroland (Songbijit), National Liberation Front of Tripura, Kamatapur Liberation Organization and HNLC have called upon the people of the region to boycott the Republic Day to fight together against the �colonial rule� of India.
