NEW DELHI, Feb 25 � Laying at rest all apprehensions, the Centre has clarified that the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) has neither cancelled nor withdrawn the North East Investment and Industrial Promotion Policy (NEIIPP).
Fresh registration under the Scheme have been suspended because the allocation for the 2014-2015 fiscal have been fully utilised and liability has been incurred far in excess of plan and annual allocation, said Union Minister of State for DoNER, Dr Jitendra Singh in a Lok Sabha reply.
