GUWAHATI, Nov 13�� The North East Inter State Badminton Championship got off to a colourful start at the Kanaklata Indoor Stadium here today.
Altogether 160 shuttlers from Manipur, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Tripura, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh and Assam are taking part in the meet.
The championship was formally inaugurated by MLA and president of the Assam Badminton Association Himanta Biswa Sarma in the morning.
