The leaders of the CRPC, Assam also prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured undergoing treatment at hospitals in Guwahati and Tezpur.

Further, the leaders of the CRPC said that it is due to the defective policies of the Centre and the State that innocent people are victimized everyday in different ways by various militant groups in Assam. Everyday new terrorist groups are formed in the nook and corner of the Northeast, but unfortunately, both the Central and State governments are unable to detect the root cause of such problems that lead to the formation of militant organizations and its activities. Whenever any incident takes place, the Centre and the State try to mislead and misguide the common people by making irrelevant statements and false assurances. These sufferings have become a part and parcel of the people of Assam and the political leaders always seem to turn a deaf ear towards these burning issues, the leaders quoted in the release.

The CRPC, Assam unit also appealed to the government to detect the actual factors leading to incidents of violence in the state and to find a permanent solution to restore peace.
