NDFB optimistic of talks with Centre

UDALGURI, Oct 3 - The National Democratic Front of Boroland (NDFB) has now developed a very smooth relation with the Union Government and after a series of talks, the outfit is awaiting a positive signal from the Centre, said Ranjan Daimari alias DR Nabla while interacting with media persons at an NDFB designated camp at Sonai near Udalguri town.

The NDFB supremo, who was there on the occasion of the 29th anniversary of the NDFB, observed that the ongoing operations of the Government cannot solve the problem till a political means is evolved for a permanent solution.

The daylong anniversary programme got under way with Ranjan Daimari, founder president of the outfit, hoisting the NDFB flag. This was followed by an open session, which was addressed by Sudhir Brahma of Choto Adabari, Kokrajhar, as the chief guest, Anjali Daimari, president of the Bodo Women�s Justice Forum, Nilo Kanta Goyary, secretary of the Bodo Sahitya Sabha, and JI Kathar, retired IAS officer and president of Assam ST/SC Welfare Association.
